The holidays are fast approaching and it's time to start picking out gifts for the little loves in your life! Let us help you with your shopping! Here are some of our baby and toddler favorites for kids ages 0-5.
Newborn- 12 Months
Silicone Montessori Teething Toy: Our kids loved this toy for traveling especially. Lots of opportunities for fine motor skills to develop while pushing and pulling!
Baby Einstein Walker and Activity Table: This spent a good 3 years in our house between our two boys. They LOVED being able to "pull" themselves around the table and it provided hours of activities for them to engage in independently. A great activity table to use in the kitchen when mom is making dinner or in the bathroom for a shower!

Baby Einstein Musical Light Bar: We used this when our boys did tummy time to start and then eventually used it to help with color recognition as they got older. Such a fun toy that serves a purpose for a baby but also grows with your kiddos to help develop other skills as they get older.
1-3 Years Old
Learning Resources: Spike the Fine Motor Hedgehog: This is a great way to develop find motor skills as well as practice color recognition and counting. Our boys started by just putting the quills back on the hedgehog. Then, we got more involved with him and started using him to identify and group the colored quills and count them.
Learning Resources: Farmer's Market Color Sorting Set: I'm sure you are noticing a pattern in our choice of "toys" for our kiddos at this point. We love to have options that are both fun and educational. There are so many opportunities for kids to learn at this age that we make sure we try to encourage that when we can! This set can be used for color sorting, counting, pretend play, etc...

Little People Farm Playset: Our youngest went through a phase where the only animal he wanted to see/would identify was a cow. This was a fun pretend play toy to use during that time, and a great way to introduce other animals and farming!
Little People Fire Truck: The Little People toys are great for toddlers. The pieces are the perfect size for their little hands to move around easily and all of them can be used for learning. This set is a great introduction to community helpers and perfect for kids who love watching the fire truck drive down the street!
Little People Playhouse Set: This is another great option for pretend play! Perfect for kids who are into play "house" or for kids who need help with language. A great tool to use to talk about every day activities around the house.

3+ Years Old
Magnatiles: Magnatiles are such a fun activity for creative expression. Our boys can build for a long time with these. They work together to create fun "buildings" and work hard to create the tallest tower!
Bug Catcher Set: These are a MUST have for any kiddo interested in bugs or the outdoors. Our boys have caught hundreds of bugs to investigate at this point! This is such a fun way to allow kids to explore on their own and create inquiry based learning. Lots of questions asked!!
Fort Builder: This set gives you everything you need to build a fun fort- instructions included! We put together the pieces and toss a blanket or sheet on top to create a fun "clubhouse" for our kids.
Hopefully this last helped to make shopping for your littlest family members easier! I firmly believe that these are great choices for babies and toddlers and will be sure to make any kiddo smile this holiday season!
